Meet The Doctor
Dr. Edward Dove graduated from Marquette University Dental School in 1989. He completed his postdoctoral specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from NSU/Miami Children’s Hospital in 2006. Dr. Dove practices in both California and Arizona with almost 30 years of clinical practice. In addition, Dr. Dove is a staff Pediatric Dentist at the Maniilaq Hospital in Kotzebue, Alaska.
The philosophy of his practice is to have parents feel that the pediatric dentist is a vital component of the child’s overall well-being. The specialty encompasses children from early infancy through adolescence. The focus is the prevention of dental disease rather than just treating infection. This is accomplished through professional office visits, good home care and oral hygiene, dietary management, and the use of fluoride. The goal is to maintain the integrity of the dental arch so that the child will grow and maintain his/her dentition to its maximum potential.
